Market demand for microprocessor performance has motivated continued scaling of CMOS through a succession of lithography generations. A very good introductary book on SOI. But I felt that the SOI device Electrical prperties could have been dealt in greater detail. Neverthless, this book is really good for circuit designers who have just been initiated into the world of SOI.
