Summary: Lots of useful advices
Rating: 4
The clear presentation style of this book makes for an extremely easy reading. However don’t let simplicity be mistaken for usefulness. This books is packed with great advices & nice rules of thumb. Best part is the presentation of 2 step by step layout case studies: a CMOS amp & BJT mixer at the end.
Summary: Excellent Read
Rating: 5
Clearly presented techniques with illustrations. This is the techniques companion to authors’ other book, ‘IC Layout Basics: A Practical Guide’. Both are an easy read, with even complex topics explained very clearly.
Get both. Each has unique content from the other. Both are enjoyable reading.
