I suppose I could go out and spend another $50 bucks on their 2008 edition, but screw it. I found Exam Cram software to work fine, Kaplan to work fine and NCLEX-RN Made Easy to work fine.
All are great books. I wouldn’t buy this, if I were you. Buy the 2008 edition. It _might_ work with the computer.
Summary: GREAT!!!

Excellent source for NCLEX review!! Contains thousands of questions encompassing every area. The CD, which comes with the text, is awesome if you’re the type of person who likes to study using the computer. Only drawback is the questions in the book are not divided by clinical area. However, the CD does nicely classify clinical areas for study and testing. Overall, this book is worth every penny!

I can not upload the CD-ROM program onto the computer - and I’ve tried on multiple computers. When you attempt to start the program, I receive the error message telling me to reinsert the CD, which doesn’t work. the computers I’ve tried it on have a Windows Vista operating system.

I am reviewing for my boards and this book is great. It is easy to review where ever you are. It is quick, easy, and complete. A must have for any nurse-to-be!
Summary: Definitely a must have

I was pleasantly surprised. I love this book and the CD that comes with it. I have several NCLEX study books, including Kaplans. I don’t have to flip around in the book to find answers to practice questions. I simply keep a bookmark where I left off and pick it up whenever I get a chance. The format is nice. The question is on one side of the page and the answer and rationale on the other side. The CD has a lot of questions and you get to choose between study questions, taking mini quizzes, or actually taking a practice exam. I would definitly recommend this book to any future nurse.
